Overview:
Our client a growing independent financial advisory firm seeking an Operations Associate to support daily business operations and ensure seamless client service delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a small team environment where versatility and initiative are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support advisors with account openings, transfers, and maintenance across custodians.
- Process client paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with billing, performance reporting, and reconciliation activities.
- Maintain CRM records, ensuring client information and documentation are up to date.
- Coordinate with custodians, investment platforms, and vendors to resolve operational issues.
- Prepare and review reports, statements, and other client deliverables.
- Assist in compliance-related tasks such as audit preparation and recordkeeping.
- Provide general administrative support and contribute to improving office processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1 years of experience in financial services, preferably in a registered investment advisory (RIA) or broker-dealer setting.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM and portfolio management systems a plus.
- Knowledge of custodians (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing, etc.) preferred.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a small-office environment.
