We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team with day-to-day administrative and employee support functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, handling confidential information, and keeping processes organized and accurate.
What You Will Do
- Prepare, process, and review HR documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance, including employment applications, employee files, and employment verification letters
- Assist with processing unemployment claims, Form I-9s, personnel action forms, wage requests, and employment verifications
- Answer incoming phone inquiries, route calls appropriately, and provide routine HR-related information
- Guide employees through various HR processes and respond to basic questions with professionalism and discretion
- Operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, copiers, webcams, and fax machines
- Provide general administrative support and assist with additional HR functions as assigned
