Ascendo Resources is partnering with one of our favorite clients that is one of the region’s leading and fastest-growing full-service law firms on their search for an experienced Conflicts Analyst professional for their team in Charlotte, NC.
This role offers the flexibility to work from our Charlotte office or fully remote.
In this position, you will play a critical role in new business intake processes by conducting conflict searches, analyzing results, and helping ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review new client and matter intake forms for accuracy, completeness, and required information.
- Perform thorough database searches to identify and evaluate potential conflicts of interest for new matters, new clients, and incoming attorneys or staff.
- Respond to search inquiries and related requests from attorneys, paralegals, and legal practice assistants.
- Prepare clear and detailed conflict reports summarizing search results.
- Support special projects involving database maintenance, software testing, updates, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, plus at least one year of legal or database-related experience in a professional setting.
- Ability to become proficient in Intapp Open, Aderant, and legal conflicts-of-interest analysis. Existing experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-focused environment.
