AP/Procurement Specialist

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Our client is seeking an AP/Procurement Specialist to join their growing organization during an exciting period of expansion. This newly established procurement team will support multiple acquisitions and work closely alongside the Accounts Payable department, creating a highly collaborative environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building processes, adapting to change, and contributing to a department from the ground up. The ideal candidate is flexible, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where procedures and workflows are still being developed.

Responsibilities

• Create, process, and maintain purchase orders.
• Support procurement activities related to company growth and acquisitions.
• Partner closely with the Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate purchasing and payment processes.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding purchasing needs and order status.
• Maintain purchasing records, documentation, and vendor information.
• Assist with developing and improving procurement procedures and workflows.
• Support additional administrative and purchasing functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, accounts payable, or a related field. (2 years)
• Strong purchase order experience is required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Comfortable working with evolving processes and limited structure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is preferred.
