What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Ascendion?
We’re partnering with a growing boutique litigation firm known for its hands-on, high-access environment where paralegals and attorneys work closely together and team members truly own their caseloads.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced litigation paralegal who wants meaningful responsibility, direct attorney collaboration, and consistent client interaction—without being siloed in a large firm structure.
What You’ll Do
- Manage full litigation lifecycle from intake through discovery and filing
- Support a mix of civil litigation matters, including:
- Business disputes
- Employment litigation
- Personal injury (plaintiff or defense)
- Handle a caseload of approximately 30–50 files
- Work directly with 2 attorneys in a highly collaborative setting
- Maintain regular client communication and case updates
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of paralegal experience
- Strong background in civil litigation required
- Personal injury exposure preferred (not required)
- Comfortable working in a smaller, fast-moving, hands-on firm environment
What's in it for you:
- The annual salary for this position is between $75,000 – $100,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
