Employment Defense Attorney
Location: Fully Remote in California or Anywhere in the United States
California Bar Admission in Good Standing Required
Experience: 3 Years
Salary: $200,000–$250,000 Base
I’m working with a well-established national labor & employment law firm seeking an experienced Employment Defense Attorney to join its California practice.
This is a fully remote opportunity open to attorneys located anywhere in the United States, provided they are actively admitted to the California Bar.
The Role
The attorney will represent employers in a broad range of employment litigation and related workplace matters, including:
Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims
Wage & hour litigation
Class and collective actions
Wrongful termination matters
Employment-related administrative proceedings
Other complex employment litigation matters
Ideal Candidate
California Bar admission in good standing
3 years of employment defense / employer-side litigation experience
Strong knowledge of California employment law
Experience with discovery, motions, depositions, hearings, and/or trial preparation
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating with a national team
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $200,000 to $250,000. Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
