About the Role
Asbury Heights is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our campus remains a safe, functional, and beautiful environment for our residents and staff. You will oversee daily maintenance operations, manage a team of technicians, and coordinate larger capital projects and repairs.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance staff to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely completion of work orders.
Preventative Maintenance: Implement and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
Project Management: Oversee renovations, vendor contracts, and facility upgrades, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Compliance: Ensure the facility meets all local, state, and federal regulations, including Department of Health (DOH) and Life Safety Code requirements.
Emergency Response: Serve as a point of contact for facility emergencies and participate in an on-call rotation.
Budgeting: Assist in managing the department budget and maintaining an inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
Experience: 5 years of experience in facility maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role (Healthcare or Senior Living experience preferred).
Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., HVAC, CMRP, or universal EPA) are a plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a "resident-first" mindset.
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with OSHA standards and building codes.
