- Supervise and manage the labor and equipment of the kitting work orders.
- Ensure on-time completion and maintain quality of orders to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with the control tower on labor management and order prioritization.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees to ensure effective team performance.
- Receiving of materials.
- Transferring of materials.
- Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the picking, packing, and shipping departments.
- Ensure proper procedures are adhered to and up to date for the control tower for current and new customers.
- Performance management of all employees (KPI’s).
- Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed.
- Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department.
- Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements.
- Update and maintain Kronos and Metrics in Excel, as it relates to WMS reporting.
- Monitor picking packing and shipping functions on the floor.
- Ensure that shift-end-specific procedures with all shipping systems are completed, and the floor end-of-shift close-out is followed.
- 3 years of Supervisory experience or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- 3 years in an SAP and /or WMS environment.
- Experience with inventory research.
