Our client is a specialty finance company operating on a global scale that supports venture capital-backed companies in technology and other high-growth industries at every stage of their development.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations
- Prepare the key schedule of investment reports to senior management
- Monitor the investment portfolio and business operations
- Collaborate with the legal and finance teams to assist with SEC filings and supporting documents
- Assist in the preparation of board of directors’ presentations and related materials including board, audit, and valuation committee reports
- Be the primary contact for quarterly reviews and year-end audit and tax reports
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- CPA required
- 8-12 years of accounting and finance experience with a background in public accounting
- Sound knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting and accounting principles
- Experience with MS Dynamics GP, Workiva and Diligent a plus
- Experience managing a team
