Full Job Description
The Community Response Teams (CRTs) are the community volunteer-based teams activated by the state s Overdose Response Center (ORC) to provide local-level community support, resource navigation, and naloxone training/distribution. The CRT Coordinator will coordinate activities and directly support the three county-based CRTs (New Castle, Kent, and Sussex). This includes planning, approving, and implementing appropriate community activities/events. This individual is responsible to form and maintain strong relationships within and between the CRT members, community partners, individuals in the community, and the ORC. The goal is to provide a ready team of volunteers to hold and staff events to support the state s response to the overdose epidemic, including training on and distributing naloxone (Narcan ) kits. This position reports to the Community Response Branch Manager within the ORC.
