Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Pay Range: $12.50 - $14.00/hour | Weekly Pay
Location: Springdale, AR
Available Shifts:
- Monday -Friday : 8:00 AM -4:00 PM
- Saturday-Sunday: 8:00 AM-8:00 PM
(Shift assignments may vary based on individual needs and scheduling.)

About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and reliable DSPs to provide hands-on support to an adult consumer in their home and community. This role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life through person-centered care.
DSPs empower individuals to live in a home of their choice, access community resources, attend school or work, and participate in activities that are meaningful to them.
About the Individual you will Support:
The individual is a young adult male who is friendly, polite, and teachable, with a strong interest in fitness, gaming, and community activities. He enjoys structured daily routines, staying active, and spending time both in the community and at home engaged in preferred activities such as exercise, shopping, and recreational hobbies.
He benefits from support with daily living skills, decision-making, and maintaining appropriate behavior in community settings. He requires encouragement to practice self-control, think before acting, and make positive choices, especially in social and community environments. He does best with consistent guidance, clear expectations, and supportive redirection when needed.
He enjoys being active and responds well to structured schedules that include exercise, community outings, and leisure time. He is working toward improving independence, communication, and appropriate social interactions.
Support staff should be patient, consistent, and encouraging, with a focus on safety, structure, positive behavior support, and helping him build confidence and independence in daily life and community participation.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (or 1 year relevant experience)
- 18 years or older
- Required to pass background checks and required clearances
- Flexibility to work weekend schedules
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
Working Conditions:
- Work occurs in people's homes, community settings, and agency sites; may include standing, walking, and driving.
- May involve exposure to challenging behaviors and physical tasks; agency provides training and supports.
