What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Assistant position at Architectural Fabrication?
We are seeking a motivated Fabricator Assistant to join our team and support day-to-day operations in the Fabrication Shop. The candidate must have a strong desire to understand the various processes and machines involved in the fabrication of architectural aluminum products. They should also demonstrate a desire to grow in and contribute to a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- ACM and Aluminum Sheet Panel Fabrication.
- Build Crates for shipments using woodworking tools, nails and screws.
- Assist in packaging and crating material for shipment.
- Assist in inventory control, maintain, handle and move physical inventory within the warehouse.
- Load and unload material from delivery trucks safely without damage.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities.
- Ability to maintain a highly organized work environment.
- Ability to operate tools, machines, and assembly components.
- Growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing environments.
- Construction or fabrication experience a plus.
- Highschool Diploma or GED.
