Summary
Manage end-to-end tax engagements, lead and develop staff, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure all tax filings are accurate, timely, and compliant with evolving tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead tax planning, preparation, and compliance engagements
- Manage a client book and serve as the primary client contact
- Review and sign individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns
- Supervise, mentor, and review work of tax staff
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Stay current on tax law changes and provide proactive guidance
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client service
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Active CPA license required
- 7 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Strong leadership, communication, and technical tax skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage a client book independently
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment
