About The Role
St. Thomas More School is hiring a Preschool Lead Teacher for our 3-year-old classroom. We’re looking for someone who brings structure, warmth, and faith to a classroom of joyful, curious, and growing learners. This role is ideal for an early childhood educator who views teaching as a ministry and has the experience to lead a classroom with confidence, purpose, and love.
Qualifications
$19-$20/hour
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.

- AA degree required; BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Experience planning and leading activities for 3-5-year-olds
- Strong understanding of child development and early learning benchmarks
- Ability to create and maintain a safe, structured, and loving classroom
- Skilled in communicating with young children, parents, and colleagues
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to take initiative
- Lead and manage the 3-year-old classroom and daily routines
- Model and promote the Catholic identity and mission of the school
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with aides, other early learning teachers, and administration
- Maintain open communication with families about student growth
- Be an active member of the St. Thomas More staff community
