- Bachelor's degree or post-graduate work in Elementary Education.
- Washington State teaching certificate with an endorsement in Elementary Education (K-6).
- Demonstrated understanding of research-based instructional strategies and assessment practices that support effective instruction.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the Catholic faith and know ways to integrate Catholic teaching into other subject areas and daily activities.
- Understanding of appropriate local and state standards.
- Communicate expectations verbally and in writing for learning and achievement.
- Consistently convey rigorous expectations to students and parents.
- Conduct learning activities that are aligned to lesson objectives and power standards.
- Effectively utilize research-based instructional practices.
- Aligning instructional behaviors with best practices of the learning process.
- Remaining current in content-related pedagogy.
- Effectively modify curriculum and differentiate instructional practices to support student learning.
- Knowing and utilizing intervention strategies under the appropriate conditions.

- Salary Scale Depending on Experience: Range: $48,000- $72,000. Job is open until filled. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
