Elementary (K-4) teacher, St. Rose Longview

St. Rose Parish School in Longview, WA is looking for qualified elementary teacher excited to join a highly cooperative and passionate staff of educators. The elementary grade curriculum includes Reading/Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Religion, and Math.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or post-graduate work in Elementary Education.
• Washington State teaching certificate with an endorsement in Elementary Education (K-6).
• Demonstrated understanding of research-based instructional strategies and assessment practices that support effective instruction.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Catholic faith and know ways to integrate Catholic teaching into other subject areas and daily activities.
• Understanding of appropriate local and state standards.

• Knowing and utilizing intervention strategies under the appropriate conditions.
• Communicating clear learning targets.
• Providing a student-centered lesson and unit structure.

• Establishing positive relationships with all students.
• Organizing the environment and the lesson to the extent that transitions between activities do not take away from instructional time.

• Salary Scale Depending on Experience: Range: $48,000- $72,000. Job is open until filled. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
