About The Role
St. Thomas More School seeks a nurturing, enthusiastic, and competent Preschool Assistant who feels called to the ministry of early childhood education in a Catholic school setting. This position supports our youngest learners—helping them feel safe, seen, and supported as they begin their school experience rooted in faith and love.
Qualifications
$18-$20
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.

- AA Degree preferred or related field
- Experience working with and assisting children at various ages or grade levels
- Ability to manage individual, small group, or class activities
- Knowledge of developmental growth in children to support student progress
- Highly organized and follows directions
- Promote Catholic identity through presence, actions, and support of mission
- Commit to building an inclusive and diverse learning environment
- Provide for a safe and optimal space for early learning
- Work well as a collaborative team member
- Participate actively as a member of the St. Thomas More staff community
