HR Generalist

Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Human Resources Generalist job in Wilmington, MA. This DIRECT job is available with one of our key customers in the aerospace and unmanned aircraft systems industry. To be successful in this position, you should have five or more years of hands-on HR experience supporting recruiting, benefits, payroll, employee relations, and compliance. You will serve as the primary onsite HR resource, working directly with employees and leadership while partnering with corporate HR on company-wide initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity to support a growing organization where you can make a direct impact on its people, processes, and culture.

Human Resources Generalist Job responsibilities:

• Manage the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, PTO, payroll changes, employee records, and HRIS administration.
• Support employee relations and compliance by addressing employee concerns, coaching managers, maintaining HR policies, and ensuring compliance with applicable federal and Massachusetts employment regulations.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting, including working with hiring managers, coordinating interviews, managing staffing agencies, preparing offers, and building pipelines for technical positions.
• Administer HR programs and processes, including benefits enrollment, leaves of absence, performance reviews, training initiatives, and employee communications.
• Partner with leadership and corporate HR on organizational development, performance management, policy development, and other strategic HR initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Five-plus years of progressive Human Resources experience with hands-on experience in recruiting, benefits, employee relations, payroll, and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience administering an HRIS and payroll platform, with Gusto experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of federal and Massachusetts employment laws, along with strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee information.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
