Aquinas Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer for a short-term consulting engagement supporting the development and enhancement of several customer-facing applications and services.
The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of hands-on software engineering experience with a strong background in C#, .NET, Angular, Azure, APIs, authentication, and microservices. This individual must be comfortable working independently, taking ownership of deliverables, and operating with minimal guidance or supervision.
Responsibilities- Design and implement authentication capabilities that enable external customers to securely integrate with internal systems through a customer-facing portal.
- Build a user administration and management module that integrates with Duck Creek through APIs.
- Design and develop scalable API and microservices-based solutions using C# and .NET.
- Develop and enhance front-end functionality using Angular.
- Build and deploy solutions within Microsoft Azure.
- Develop semantic search and knowledge retrieval capabilities for underwriting guides and other content used by external customers.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and independently drive development efforts from design through implementation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional, security, and integration requirements.
- 8–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong development experience with C# and .NET.
- Hands-on experience developing modern web applications using Angular.
- Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and application security.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications within Microsoft Azure.
- Experience integrating applications with enterprise platforms through APIs.
- Experience with Duck Creek or other insurance technology platforms is highly preferred.
- Experience with semantic search, knowledge retrieval, AI-powered search, or similar technologies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and deliver within a fast-paced, short-term consulting engagement
