As the Director of Brand Content, you'll be the driving force behind the US content strategy for a renowned skincare brand, shaping how the brand connects with its audience across all channels. Partnering with global marketing teams, you'll adapt and create compelling content tailored to the US market, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand presence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend scientific skincare knowledge with creative storytelling, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like generative AI to reach and engage US consumers.
This exciting role will allow you to:
- Develop and implement a US content strategy aligned with global brand direction, while addressing specific US market needs and business objectives.
- Oversee the creation and management of diverse content formats for the US market, including video, photography, social media content, website copy, educational materials, sales collateral, and influencer-generated content.
- Adapt global brand narratives and messaging for the US target audience, ensuring consistent brand communication across all channels.
- Partner with US-based senior leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate content strategies into broader business plans.
- Lead content development and execution for new product launches and marketing campaigns within the US.
- Collaborate with the global marketing team to ensure alignment between global and US content strategies.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the US content production team.
- Develop and manage the US content production budget.
- Oversee relationships with US-based vendors.
- Research and implement new technologies and industry best practices to enhance content quality and effectiveness.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure content effectiveness and optimize campaigns.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in content production, management, social media/influencer strategy, or a related field, ideally within the skincare or beauty industry.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful content strategies for both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning and messaging.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with scientific and medical terminology related to skincare.
- Familiarity with content editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut), photo editing software, and other relevant digital tools.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48.51 to $53.90 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
