Aqua-Tots Swim Schools is seeking a Full-Time Aquatic Manager to lead our Water Safety Team, oversee pool operations, and ensure an exceptional experience for both families and teammates. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about water safety, team development, and delivering high-quality swim instruction.
Schedule & Availability
Full-time position (approximately 32–40 hours per week)
Schedule may vary based on school needs
Flexibility to work weeknights and weekend mornings is required
Includes a combination of teaching, deck supervision, training, and administrative responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Hire, train, coach, and evaluate members of the Water Safety Instructor Team
Mentor instructors and help identify future leaders within the school
Oversee Lead Instructor Trainers (LITs) and support their performance
Ensure all instructors meet certification and training requirements before teaching independently
Swim Instruction & Deck Supervision
Teach 1–3 permanent swim lesson shifts per week
Serve as Deck Supervisor for at least one permanent shift per week
Conduct instructor assessments, co-teaching, and in-water training as needed
Schedule and lead monthly in-services, including required safety in-services
Pool Operations & Safety
Oversee daily pool operations and ensure compliance with state and county health department regulations
Maintain safety standards and address concerns immediately
Ensure consistent quality and progression of the Aqua-Tots curriculum
Customer & Family Experience
Support a welcoming, family-focused environment
Build strong relationships with families and address aquatic-related concerns professionally
Respond to parent inquiries related to instruction or performance within 24 hours
Partner with the General Manager to resolve escalated concerns
Administrative Responsibilities
Complete required administrative tasks (approximately 3–5 hours per week)
Maintain accurate instructor schedules and training documentation
Review student progress reports and support enrollment growth initiatives
Participate in required company calls and meetings
Qualifications
Current Aqua-Tots Master Water Safety Instructor (AT-MWSI) Certification (or ability to maintain)
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Passion for water safety, teaching, and team development
Ability to multitask and lead in a fast-paced environment
Salary : $40,000 - $45,000
