About the Role:
As a Regulatory Compliance Engineer, you’ll be a key contributor in ensuring wireless and switching technologies meet domestic and international regulatory standards. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, and external certification bodies to support regulatory strategy, certification readiness, and on‑time product launches. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail‑oriented environment and enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, compliance, and regulatory strategy.
What You’ll Do:
- Interpret and apply wireless regulatory requirements, including FCC and applicable global standards
- Develop and execute compliance strategies for wireless technologies such as Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, cellular, NFC, UWB, and related platforms
- Define certification roadmaps aligned with product development and launch timelines
- Identify applicable regulatory standards and required testing for target markets
- Coordinate safety and compliance testing in partnership with RAN and Core engineering teams
- Review and approve test plans and test reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support pre‑scan testing and troubleshoot compliance issues
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings, including FCC applications, CE Declarations of Conformity, and other required certifications
- Manage and maintain compliance documentation (test reports, schematics, block diagrams, labeling, and technical exhibits)
- Serve as the primary regulatory point of contact for internal teams and external partners
- Provide regulatory guidance during product design reviews and engineering changes
- Train internal teams on certification, labeling, and regulatory requirements
- Engage with certification agencies, consultants, and regulatory bodies
- Monitor changes in global wireless regulations and assess business impact
- Support audits, renewals, and change management activities

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- 5–8 years of experience in wireless regulatory compliance
- Strong knowledge of wireless technologies, VoIP fundamentals, and EMC principles
- Experience with FCC regulations, certification processes, and regulatory submissions
- Strong analytical, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Preferred:
- Experience supporting multi‑region or global compliance programs
- Direct experience working with certification bodies or regulatory agencies
- Exposure to switching platforms, RAN, or Core network environments
