As a Regulatory Compliance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, certification readiness, and technical validation across wireless and switching platforms. This position supports regulatory strategy, product validation, documentation, and cross-functional coordination to ensure wireless technologies meet domestic and global standards while aligning with product launch timelines and operational excellence objectives.
Responsibilities:
What You Will Do
In all of your duties, you will maintain a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to deliver accurate and effective results.
Interpret and apply wireless regulatory requirements, including FCC standards and applicable global regulations.
Develop and execute regulatory compliance strategies for wireless technologies including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular, NFC, UWB, and related platforms.
Define certification roadmaps aligned with product development and launch schedules.
Determine applicable regulatory standards and required testing for target markets.
Coordinate and oversee safety testing activities in collaboration with RAN and Core engineering teams.
Review and approve test plans and reports to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
Support pre-scan testing and troubleshooting efforts to resolve compliance issues.
Compile and submit regulatory application packages, including FCC filings, CE Declarations of Conformity, and other certifications.
Manage documentation including test reports, schematics, block diagrams, operational descriptions, labeling, and technical exhibits.
Maintain compliance documentation and certification records for audits and renewals.
Serve as the primary regulatory contact for internal and external inquiries.
Provide regulatory guidance during product architecture reviews and engineering changes.
Train internal teams on regulatory requirements, certification obligations, and labeling standards.
Interface with external consultants, certification agencies, and compliance bodies.
Monitor changes in global wireless regulations and assess their impact.
Develop mitigation strategies to address regulatory risks and gaps.
Support internal and external audits and change management activities.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support switching and regulatory operations.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
5–8 years of experience in wireless regulatory compliance.
Strong knowledge of wireless technologies, VoIP fundamentals, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) principles.
Experience working with FCC standards, certification processes, and regulatory submissions.
Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred:
Experience supporting multi-region or global regulatory compliance programs.
Prior experience interfacing directly with certification bodies or regulatory agencies.
Experience in switching platforms, RAN, or Core network environments.
