ryThe Director of Nursing (DON) provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for all nursing services within an 80-bed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) serving children and adolescents with complex behavioral health needs. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, and evidence-based nursing care while maintaining full compliance with all federal, state, Medicaid, and accreditation requirement

• ipProvide oversight of all nursing services to ensure safe, effective, and trauma-informed care deliver
• y.Direct and ensure consistent implementation of the nursing process across all unit
• s.Ensure accurate execution of provider orders, including medication administration and monitorin
• g.Oversee psychotropic medication management, including reconciliation, documentation, and pharmacy complianc
• e.Ensure timely completion of required clinical assessments, including AIMS testin
• g.Oversee medical triage, injury assessment, follow-up care, and clinical escalation as appropriat
• e.Ensure proper nursing documentation related to seclusion and restraint event
• s.Conduct routine chart audits to ensure accuracy, quality, and regulatory complianc

• ntEnsure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, Medicaid, and PRTF regulatory standard
• s.Lead infection prevention and control activities, including monitoring, reporting, and corrective action
• s.Prepare and present pharmacy and therapeutics reports in collaboration with medical and consulting provider
• s.Serve as CLIA Director, maintaining all required laboratory, medication, and pharmacy certification
• s.Lead and participate in regulatory surveys, audits, and corrective action plannin

• piBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferr

• ceAt least 3 years of experience in pediatric, behavioral health, psychiatric, or residential treatment settin
