Location: DC area - Hybrid on-site 1-2 days per week in the Rockville or DC/Arlington office

What You’ll Own
- Plan, lead, and oversee multiple financial and accounting due diligence engagements simultaneously.
- Analyze historical financial statements and underlying data; assess quality of earnings, working capital, and operating trends.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for private equity professionals, strategic buyers/sellers, and target company executives.
- Provide clear, practical commentary on financial performance, risks, and value drivers.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates; provide performance feedback and coaching.
- Support business development efforts by participating in proposals, pitches, and relationship-building initiatives.
- Manage client expectations around scope, deliverables, and deadlines; lead change efforts when needed.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to cross-sell Aprio services.
- Stay current on transaction advisory, M&A, and private equity market trends.
Must-Haves
- 8–10 years of experience in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, audit, or related advisory services.
- Strong technical foundation in US GAAP and transaction advisory concepts.
- Proven experience leading financial due diligence engagements for private equity and/or strategic clients.
- Demonstrated ability to work confidently with senior executives and investment professionals.
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing and supervising teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to ~20%.

Salary : $225,000 - $315,000
