Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Advanced Software Engineer for Linux Application Development for Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and developing next generation cryptographic solutions. To be considered, you will have an Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or related plus a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Position: Advanced Software Engineer for Linux Application Development for Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions
Contract: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct
Pay: $71.75/hour
Schedule: Hybrid
What you bring to the table:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
- Ability to lead the software development process
- Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
- Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and positioning others for success
- Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
- Experience developing Linux applications for embedded systems
- Capable of proposing high quality and high performing solutions with minimal input
- Skilled in embedded Linux debugging techniques
- Experience with Vitis/Petalinux/Xilinx SoC (Zynq Ultrascale /Versal) a plus
- Experience with SW Defined Radio or Satellite applications a plus
- Experience with Secure Red/Black Separation architecture a plus
- Experience with Docker and podman on Linux a plus
- Experience with Windriver Linux a plus
