Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing team. This strategic role will partner closely with business leaders to drive initiatives that foster talent development, strengthen employee relations, enhance engagement, and ensure operational excellence through HR-related audits and compliance.

This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter with a passion for people to build programs and initiatives from the ground up. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment, is comfortable working through ambiguity, and brings strong generalist experience to support day-to-day HR operations and projects as needed

Job Responsibilities

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on workplace concerns and conflict resolution.
  • Investigate and manage employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Partner with legal and compliance teams on sensitive employee matters.
  • Proactively identify trends in employee relations to recommend preventative strategies.

Employee Engagement:

  • Develop and execute employee engagement strategies that align with business goals and enhance company culture.
  • Lead employee listening initiatives such as surveys, focus groups, and feedback sessions.

Generalist Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage various day-to-day HR generalist duties and operational needs, including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, performance management, policy interpretation, and benefits inquiries.
  • Assist in HR projects and initiatives outside of core responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Talent Development:

  • Collaborate with leadership teams to identify talent gaps and create development plans.
  • Design, implement, and manage employee learning and development programs.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on talent management best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Development, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus in talent development, employee relations, and engagement.
  • Solid understanding of employment law, HR policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity, take initiative, and operate as a proactive self-starter.
  • Previous experience supporting an hourly, production, or manufacturing employee population is preferred.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.

Location

This position will be on-site based in Sugar Land, Texas.
