This is an on-site role in Fremont, CA 94538. Regular Swing Shift, Mon-Fri, 40 hours
We are seeking detail-oriented, safety-focused professionals to assemble Wafer Fabrication Equipment (WFE) in a fast-paced Lean manufacturing cleanroom environment. If you enjoy hands-on technical work, following schematics, and working in high-precision production environments - this is for you.
Skills:
- Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or precision manufacturing assembly
- Ability to read and follow schematics and work instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools
- Experience with torque wrenches, calipers, ohm meters, and diagnostic tools
- Comfortable using computer-based systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to distinguish wire colors
- Flexible and adaptable to changing production priorities
Duties:
- Assemble wafer fabrication equipment using hand tools, torque wrenches, fixtures, and hoists
- Follow computer-based work instructions and schematics (Cell Fusion system)
- Perform visual inspection of parts prior to installation
- Verify task completion and document work accurately
- Support audits and checklist verification
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules
- Support pilot builds and rework projects
- Maintain cleanroom protocols and PPE compliance
- Follow LOTO, ZEST, and all safety procedures
Work Environment:
- Lean manufacturing cleanroom
- 12 hour shifts
- Physically active role (lifting up to 35 lbs, kneeling, climbing ladders, reaching into machines)
- Fast-paced, time-sensitive production environment
