Top skills:
- Strong in using NX for 3D CAD (at least must have used it for 2 years).
- Familiar with Teamcenter PLM system (expertise not required).
- Solid mechanical design skills (particularly with sheet metal and machined parts).
Responsibilities:
- Performs Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and fundamental mechanical design, including Design for Manufacturing and Assembly.
- Investigates and selects off-the-shelf components as appropriate.
- Manages CAD assemblies for oneself and colleagues.
- Interprets engineering drawings/specifications and manufacturing processes; problem solves material, process and parts issues.
- Contributes to inspection and failure analysis.
