This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to meet production standards and technical specifications.What You’ll Be DoingPerform high-quality manual machining operations according to technical specifications and production requirementsRead and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical documentationSet up and operate manual lathes and mills, including:Indicating vises and workpiecesSetting machine heads and sweeping tablesChanging chucks on lathesMeasure and inspect parts using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators, and comparatorsMaintain close attention to detail to ensure parts meet tight tolerancesFollow all safety policies and quality proceduresCollaborate with team members to support production goalsComplete additional machining or shop-related duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED2–5 years of hands-on manual machining experienceStrong understanding of machining operations and machine toolsAbove-average math skills related to machining and measurementsExperience working in a manufacturing or production environmentAbility to work independently while maintaining consistent quality If you meet these requirements, apply or call 317-887-0747 today!
