Job Overview:
Our client, a leading North American builder and consistent contractor in the US' best ranked GCs, are seeking a Operations Manager/Operations Director to oversee water/wastewater treatment projects across the U.S. Can be based out of Denver, Houston, St. Louis, or Atlanta.
The role pays up to $225k base min. 15-25% bonus min. 15% profit-share future equity options & 34 days PTO. With clear advancement to Market Leader or VP position.
You’ll ensure safe, efficient, high‑quality project execution while driving schedule, budget, and client satisfaction. This role partners closely with project teams, leads operational strategy, supports business development, and ensures consistent delivery across multiple sites.
The Ideal Candidate:
You are a seasoned construction operations leader with deep expertise in water/wastewater treatment facility construction and a passion for developing people and building strong client relationships.
You bring:
- 10 years of experience managing construction of water/wastewater treatment facilities.
- Strong background in design‑build delivery.
- Experience in joint‑venture environments and union/open‑shop operations (preferred).
- A proven ability to mentor teams, manage risk, and drive consistent project performance.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to support strategy, pricing, forecasting, and client development.
- Willingness to travel with full reimbursement for regional travel costs.
- A leadership style grounded in safety, integrity, and collaboration.
