Job Title: Senior Low Voltage Technician – On-Site

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with on-call availability)
About the Role:
Are you an experienced low voltage technician with a passion for hands-on work and leadership in the field? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team, overseeing the installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of enterprise electronic systems, including intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control. This is an on-site role that offers opportunities to lead projects, mentor team members, and ensure high-quality service delivery across multiple worksites.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage panels, wiring, and associated devices.
Supervise electronic installers and coordinate daily activities across multiple worksites.
Lead system startup, commissioning, and signal verification.
Provide coaching, instruction, and training to team members and customers.
Maintain accurate documentation of service, hours worked, and task completion.
Organize tools, equipment, and technical resources to ensure efficient operations.
Deliver exceptional customer support and instruction on system functionality.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, codes, and company standards.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or vocational training required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with enterprise intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, and access control systems.
Mastery of local and national electrical, fire, and construction codes.
Proficiency with OSHA, HAZCOM, and national electronic codes.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical documents.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening.
Certifications:
NICET Level II Certification (fire alarm systems) required.
NICET Level III Certification to be obtained within 1 year.
Product-specific certifications as required by codes and manufacturer standards.
75–100% proficiency in Everon Commercial’s Enterprise product offerings.
Physical & Work Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, sit, twist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in elevated or confined spaces.
Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions and around electrical hazards.
Must be able to travel on short notice and work flexible schedules, including on-call availability.
