Sales Field Applications Engineer –HVAC (Central/Eastern U.S.) REMOTE DH Monday to Friday - Remote (Central/Eastern U.S.-based role) From $90,000 to $130,000 based on experience Preferred Mandarin and English - BUT NOT A MUST Willingness to travel: 25% to 50%, including U.S. and Canada Responsibilities• Focus on EC fan products—promote performance, efficiency, and reliability across HVACR applications.• Provide first-line technical support to customers; resolve electrical, mechanical, or airflow challenges with full backup from HQ R&D.• Visit customer sites (plants, labs, engineering centers) to support active projects, gather technical requirements, and define next steps.• Identify and develop new business opportunities through engineering discussions, application reviews, and industry networking.• Translate customer requirements into proposals, quotes, fan selections, validation plans, and testing instructions.• Support design-in cycles involving airflow/pressure matching, mechanical integration, acoustics, electrical interfaces, and motor control.• Coordinate with HQ R&D on test data, performance modifications, application feedback, and technical escalations.• Track project progress: samples, shipments, technical issues, and customer feedback; drive fast internal resolution.• Maintain CRM accuracy; provide timely pipeline status, engineering notes, and forecasts.• Follow up after delivery to verify performance, solve integration issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.• Monitor HVACR market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings (ebmpapst, Ziehl-Abegg, Rosenberg, etc.).• Stay current on EC motor/BLDC technology, airflow/pressure principles, acoustic behavior, power electronics, and HVACR system integration. Preferred Experience:• Hands-on experience selecting EC fans, interpreting performance curves, and solving system airflow/acoustic problems.• Familiarity with HVACR equipment: air handlers, condensers, evaporators, heat pumps, commercial refrigeration, ventilation.• Knowledge of power electronics, BLDC motor control, PWM/analog signal control, and electrical integration.• Proven track record of technical design-in wins from project initiation to production.• Experience working with global R&D teams, including coordination with HQ engineering.
