A well-established company in Fresno is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join its team on a full-time, on-site basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong payroll experience who values accuracy, compliance, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time for hourly and salaried employees
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
Maintain payroll records, employee deductions, garnishments, and timekeeping data
Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll-related inquiries
Partner with HR and accounting to support audits, reporting, and reconciliations
Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information
Qualifications:
2 years of payroll processing experience preferred
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and wage/hour compliance
Experience with payroll systems and timekeeping software
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
Ability to work independently in an on-site environment
Position Details:
Pay: $25 per hour
Schedule: Full-time
Location: On-site in Fresno, CA
