The Opportunity
As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll manage payroll operations for a large employee population while partnering with finance and HR leadership. This role offers visibility, stability, and the opportunity to contribute within a structured organization.
What You’ll Do
- Process bi-weekly payroll for a multi-location workforce of 1,500 employees
- Manage payroll data, deductions, garnishments, and employee changes
- Support benefits reconciliation and payroll-related reporting
- Assist with annual audits and payroll compliance documentation
- Supervise one direct report and partner with internal departments as needed
- 3 years of payroll experience in a high-volume environment
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Accounting or nonprofit experience is a plus
- Stable organization with long-tenured leadership
