What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Desktop Support position at AppleOne?
We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Desktop Support Administrator to join our global IT team at our San Clemente headquarters. This on-site position provides hands-on Level 1 & 2 support for hardware, software, and systems across the organization.
In this role, you’ll not only solve day-to-day IT issues—you’ll also help our teams embrace modern AI tools like Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT to boost productivity and streamline workflows.
What You’ll Do
Technical Support & End-User Services
Respond to IT support requests and troubleshoot issues with hardware, software, networks, and peripherals.
Support macOS, iOS, Windows 10/11, and Office 365 environments.
Set up and maintain user accounts, system access, and software licensing.
Support AV systems, Teams, and Zoom Rooms.
Document fixes and provide clear communication with users.
AI Tools & Workflow Innovation
Deploy and support AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity).
Train and assist users in using AI tools effectively.
Identify opportunities to automate or improve business processes.
System & Network Administration (Basic)
Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with hardware/software procurement.
Perform basic server and Active Directory administration tasks.
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/VPN and wireless issues.
Support backups, patches, and system updates.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
1–3 years in desktop or systems support in an enterprise environment.
Strong knowledge of macOS, iOS, Windows 10/11, and Office 365.
Experience with Teams, Zoom, and conference room AV setups.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN/VPN, Wi-Fi).
Familiarity with Active Directory, PowerShell, and MDM tools (Mosyle, JAMF).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools.
Ability to train and support users on new technologies.
Familiarity with Windows Server environments and backup routines.
