Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk for an on-site opportunity in La Verne, CA with a growing consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys accurate invoice processing, organized documentation, and supporting weekly payment cycles.
The Accounts Payable Clerk will join a supportive team that values reliability, accuracy, and professional growth. This opportunity offers hands-on training with internal software, steady Monday through Friday hours, and the chance to build upon existing A/P experience in a collaborative workplace with positive leadership and a team-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Process 50 or more accounts payable invoices per week with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Scan, organize, and maintain financial documents for electronic filing and recordkeeping.
- Assist with weekly check runs, payment processing, and vendor disbursements.
- Review and update general ledger coding to support accurate financial reporting.
- Perform data entry into accounting systems and help maintain clean, organized A/P records.
- Communicate with internal team members to resolve invoice questions, coding issues, or missing documentation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Rate: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire.
- Work Location: On-site in La Verne, CA.
- Software training is provided.
