We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Technician to support daily accounting operations with a focus on travel reimbursement auditing, transaction processing, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Audit and process employee travel reimbursement requests for compliance Review documentation for accuracy, approvals, coding, and required support Prepare audit worksheets and reimbursement backup Enter and route invoices and inter agency transactions through workflow systems Prepare and submit bank deposits on a rotating schedule Run accounting and financial reports Perform general accounting support and data entry Review transaction coding monthly and submit corrections as needed Create and maintain program accounting codes Prepare financial tracking and ad hoc reports using spreadsheets Respond to reimbursement and transaction inquiries Support month-end and year-end close activities Update procedures and assist with process improvements Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience) Accounting or finance support experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting systems If you are interested, apply today!!
