The Appellate Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative and litigation support to shareholders and associates, with a focus on appellate filings, court deadlines, document preparation, calendaring, and client billing. Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with preparing, proofreading, revising, filing, and serving appellate litigation documents, including notices, motions, petitions, briefs, and related filings.
- Calendar and monitor court deadlines in accordance with appellate, district court, and circuit court rules and filing protocols.
- Coordinate preparation of motions and briefs, including exhibit assembly, filing logistics, and service requirements.
- Manage attorney calendars, travel arrangements, appointments, files, records, and general administrative support needs.
- Submit intake and conflicts requests, enter attorney time, assist with client billing, and support related administrative processes.
- Provide backup assistance to other attorneys and legal assistants as needed in a busy downtown office environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000 to $95,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
