Title: Learning Designer III
Pay Rate: $44-48/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a Learning Designer to design, develop, and implement engaging learning solutions that support employee development and business objectives. This role will partner closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), facilitators, and cross-functional teams to create instructor-led, on-the-job, and e-learning training programs using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and experienced in adult learning principles, instructional design strategies, and training evaluation methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop learning interventions including instructor-led training (ILT), on-the-job training, and e-learning courses using ISD methodology
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify knowledge gaps, skill requirements, and appropriate learning solutions
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure accuracy of training materials
- Create facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, design documents, and supporting learning resources
- Identify and implement appropriate instructional strategies and learning delivery methods
- Develop performance assessments, Level 1 and Level 2 evaluations, and measurement tools to assess training effectiveness
- Facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions to prepare instructors and facilitators to deliver training content
- Observe newly implemented training programs and gather feedback from instructors and participants to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvements
- Work independently and collaboratively with designers, facilitators, and stakeholders to manage multiple projects and timelines
- Maintain current knowledge of adult learning trends, learning technologies, and training development best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Instructional Design, Adult Education, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered
- Experience developing instructor-led, on-the-job, and/or e-learning training programs
- Familiarity with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology and adult learning principles
- Experience using analysis tools to identify job knowledge and skill requirements
- Ability to develop evaluation instruments and training assessments
- Experience facilitating sessions with subject matter experts and stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments
