Seeking an Instructional Designer to design and develop learning interventions, including instructor-led training, on-the-job training, and e-learning courses using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology. The role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, developing instructional materials, conducting Train-the-Trainer sessions, and evaluating training effectiveness through performance measurement tools and feedback analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop instructor-led, on-the-job, and e-learning training programs using ISD methodology.
- Use analysis tools to identify knowledge and skill requirements for training development.
- Collaborate with designers, facilitators, and subject matter experts to create accurate and effective course content.
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to prepare instructors to deliver developed materials.
- Develop performance measurement tests and evaluation instruments to assess training effectiveness.
- Identify and implement appropriate instructional methods and strategies.
- Observe newly implemented programs and gather instructor and learner feedback to evaluate content, flow, and overall success.
- Develop facilitator guides, participant guides, and supporting design documentation.
- Create technology-supported learning interventions.
- Maintain current knowledge of learning delivery methods and training development technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Instructional Design, Adult Education, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Experience developing instructor-led or on-the-job training courses preferred.
- Experience using analysis tools and identifying job knowledge and skill requirements.
- Knowledge and experience with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology.
- Experience building Level 1 and Level 2 evaluations.
- Experience facilitating sessions with subject matter experts.
- Experience producing design documents and instructional materials.
- Knowledge of adult learning theories preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with proper grammar usage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with designers and subject matter experts.
- Experience identifying and implementing instructional strategies preferred.
