We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and relationship-driven Operations & Broker Relations Associate to support our Managing Director of Wholesale Mortgage Origination.
This role combines broker relationship management, loan processing support, underwriting coordination, and operational execution. You will play a key role in ensuring loans move efficiently from initial broker engagement through closing while helping deliver an exceptional broker experience.

Responsibilities:
Broker Relationship Management
Proactively identify and contact mortgage brokers
Schedule meetings and maintain ongoing broker communication
Deliver a high-touch, concierge-style broker experience
Manage follow-ups and relationship nurturing
Serve as a key point of contact throughout the loan process
Loan Processing & Underwriting Support
Assist with issuing loan commitments
Manage loan files from application through closing
Support underwriting analysis and deal review
Coordinate with brokers, borrowers, title companies, and internal teams to ensure efficient closings
Help maintain clean, organized, and accurate loan files
Pipeline & Operations Management
Track loan pipeline activity, deadlines, and deal milestones
Ensure no tasks or conditions fall through the cracks
Prepare updates and summaries for the Managing Director
Improve workflows and operational efficiency
Maintain strong organization across multiple active transactions
Events & Industry Engagement
Assist with broker appreciation events and networking functions
Support attendance at industry conferences and events
Help strengthen broker relationships through in-person engagement
Qualifications:
2–5 years of experience in loan processing, mortgage operations, lending, or customer service
Strong understanding of underwriting and real estate lending fundamentals
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Experience With CRM Systems And Loan Origination Software Preferred
