Position Mission
The primary mission of this role is to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the Managing Director of Wholesale Mortgage Origination by ensuring seamless broker engagement, disciplined pipeline management, and flawless execution of loan originations from initial contact through closing.
This role acts as a force multiplier, enabling increased deal flow, stronger broker relationships, and faster, more efficient loan closings.
About the Role
Alliance Portfolio is seeking a high-performing, relationship-driven operator to support and extend the capabilities of our Managing Director of Wholesale Mortgage Origination.
This is a hybrid role combining:
- Broker relationship management (front-end deal flow)
- Loan processing & underwriting support (execution)
- Operational coordination (efficiency & scale)
You will serve as both a broker concierge and a deal execution partner, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks while elevating the overall broker experience.
What You’ll Do
Broker Outreach & Relationship Management
- Proactively identify, contact, and schedule meetings with mortgage brokers
- Act as a broker relations concierge, delivering high-touch, white-glove service
- Manage ongoing broker communication, follow-ups, and relationship nurturing
- Reduce friction for the Managing Director by owning broker coordination and responsiveness
Loan Processing & Underwriting
- Assist in issuing loan commitments
- Manage loan files from application through closing
- Support underwriting analysis (borrower, collateral, deal viability)
- Coordinate across all parties to ensure fast, clean, and predictable closings
Pipeline & Operational Leverage
- Maintain full visibility into the loan pipeline and broker activity
- Track tasks, deadlines, and deal milestones to ensure nothing slips
- Prepare summaries, updates, and priorities for the Managing Director
- Continuously improve systems and workflows
Events & Broker Engagement
- Plan and execute broker appreciation events and networking functions
- Support attendance at industry events and conferences
- Strengthen relationships and drive deal flow through in-person engagement
Compensation Structure
💰 Base Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (DOE)
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years in customer service and loan processing
- Strong understanding of underwriting and real estate lending fundamentals
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communicator with a relationship-first mindset
- Ability to anticipate needs and reduce executive workload
- CRM and loan origination system experience preferred
