What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Clerk position at AppleOne Employment Services?
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
What You’ll Do
Review and edit closing notes on completed work orders
Prepare and generate accurate invoices
Upload invoices to customer portals with proper documentation and on-time delivery
Create and submit client proposals
Handle billing disputes and process invoice credits as needed
Monitor, respond to, and route inbound emails efficiently
Resolve billing questions and customer concerns professionally
Answer incoming calls and assist or direct customers appropriately
Support general administrative tasks as needed
Review and audit daily technician inventory
Submit Placed-in-Service reports to the appropriate agencies

Working knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
Clear, professional written and verbal communication
Excellent organization and time-management abilities
A proactive problem-solver who can work independently and collaboratively
Ability to spot errors and correct them efficiently
Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Comfortable managing priorities and meeting deadlines
