POSITION SUMMARY
A hybrid role. Approximately half the week is office work covering scopes, estimates, change orders, and program reporting. The other half is in the field verifying work in place, walking homes with inspectors, and holding subcontractors to scope and schedule. Candidates looking for a strictly office role or a strictly field role are not a fit.
OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain scopes of work, cost estimates, and change order justification packages
- Review subcontractor pay applications and verify quantities against work in place
- Maintain program reporting, photo documentation, and project file compliance
- Coordinate permitting, utility releases, and inspection scheduling with the Permit Coordinator
FIELD RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct progress and quality walks on assigned homes, documenting deficiencies and driving
punch list resolution
- Verify subcontractor compliance with scope, safety requirements, and program specifications
- Serve as the on site point of contact for homeowners during active construction
- Escalate scope changes, differing site conditions, and schedule risks to the Project Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
- Three or more years in residential construction management, restoration, or reconstruction
- Ability to read plans and specifications and to write a defensible scope of work
- Valid driver license and reliable transportation. Comfortable working in active construction environments
- CDBG-DR, FEMA, or HUD funded program experience strongly preferred
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
