Senior Electrical Estimator
Pay: $80,000 - $95,000 annually, based on experience
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to lead estimating and preconstruction efforts for commercial, institutional, and federal projects across the Kansas City region. This is a high-impact role where you’ll collaborate with leadership, project management, subcontractors, and vendors to drive strategic bidding decisions on complex, high-value projects.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven ability to develop accurate, competitive estimates that support successful project pursuits. You will work closely with executive leadership, project management, subcontractors, and vendors to drive strategic bidding decisions on high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Bid Management
Lead the complete estimating process from project review through final bid submission.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
Prepare conceptual, budgetary, design-development, and hard-bid estimates.
Identify project risks, scope gaps, and opportunities for value engineering.
Quantity Takeoffs & Cost Development
Preferred Skills & Experience
7 years of electrical construction estimating experience.
Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems & NEC.
Proficiency with Accubid, Procore, and Excel.
Ability to interpret electrical plans and specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
10 years of estimating experience.
Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Experience with Design-Build & Hard-Bid delivery methods.
PMP, CPE, or other certifications.
