Job Title: Administrative Specialist
Location: Seneca, SC
Pay Rate: $13.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch, 37.5 hours/week)
Assignment Length: 90-day temporary assignment (with potential for extension)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Specialist to join our team in Seneca, SC. This role requires strong computer skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a professional office environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute front office duties accurately and efficiently, treating all patients with dignity and respect.
- Check patients in and out, schedule appointments, make reminder calls, and update patient records.
- Request and process payments for services rendered.
- Answer and route phone consults, notify team leader by email, and maintain organized filing in shared folders.
- Serve as cashier and manage daily transactions.
- Provide back-up coverage for Medical Records, Patient Intake, and Data Entry Clerk functions as needed.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and general data entry).
- Excellent customer service and phone communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain seated at a desk for most of the workday.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday.
