About the Role:


The Full Charge Bookkeeper plays a critical role in managing the complete accounting cycle to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulatory standards. This position is responsible for maintaining detailed and organized financial documentation, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. The role requires close collaboration with management to provide timely financial reports that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will oversee the reconciliation of accounts, preparation of tax filings, and assist in budgeting processes to maintain the financial health of the organization. Ultimately, this position ensures that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and that the company’s financial data is reliable and up to date for internal and external stakeholders.


Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll processing, and tax regulations.

• Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.


Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping tasks including recording daily financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining the general ledger.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.

• Prepare and process payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and benefits in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to assist management in monitoring financial performance and making informed business decisions.

• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors during tax preparation and financial audits to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards.

• Maintain accurate records of inventory and fixed assets, supporting cost control and asset management initiatives.

• Monitor and reconcile vendor and customer accounts to resolve discrepancies and maintain positive business relationships.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by providing detailed financial data and analysis.

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
