Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Starbucks Supervisor at Applegreen to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, team leadership, and hospitality, with a passion for coffee and customer satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to oversee daily store operations, ensure food safety standards, and foster a positive work environment.

Duties

• Supervise daily store operations, including food preparation, beverage service, and cash handling
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards
• Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health standards
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer experience
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet sales goals
• Conduct staff interviews, onboarding, and ongoing training to develop a skilled team
• Manage shift transitions efficiently while maintaining quality service during busy periods
• Support kitchen management tasks including food production, catering coordination, and barista operations if applicable
• Uphold brand standards for hospitality, food presentation, and overall store appearance

Skills

• Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments
• Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or assistant manager experience
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, kitchen management, and food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
• Ability to train staff in food preparation, beverage crafting (including coffee/Barista experience), and restaurant operations
• Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food management practices
• Leadership qualities including team management, training & development, interviewing skills, and hospitality management expertise
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $17.56 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
