Job Summary
The Starbucks Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Applegreen is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. Duties
- Lead and motivate the store team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales goals
- Manage daily operations including cash handling, POS transactions (Aloha POS, Micros POS), and inventory control
- Oversee food safety and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Assist in food preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
- Train and develop team members on POS systems, food safety protocols, and customer service techniques
- Monitor sales performance, analyze retail math metrics, and implement strategies to increase revenue
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Manage staffing schedules, delegate tasks efficiently, and optimize labor resources
- Maintain a clean, organized café environment that aligns with brand standards
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or retail management, preferably within a café or coffee shop environment
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Demonstrated sales ability with experience in serving customers and upselling products
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food preparation, and handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive customer experiences
- Basic math skills including cash handling, retail math, and cashiering experience
- Experience in managing teams in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the food industry standards and café operations is preferred
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 22.0 per week
