Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Burger King Supervisor at our Applegreen location. The ideal candidate will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure excellent customer service, and lead a team to deliver high-quality food and hospitality standards. This role requires strong management skills, food industry knowledge, and the ability to maintain a fast-paced environment in a quick service and fast food restaurant setting. The Supervisor will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety, controlling inventory, and upholding brand standards to provide an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Train, develop, and motivate staff to maintain high performance levels; conduct interviews and assist with staff scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures across all areas of the restaurant.
- Monitor shift management activities, including opening, closing, and ensuring smooth transitions between shifts.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health standards.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and overall food service management to optimize operational efficiency.
- Support catering or banquet services as needed; participate in food production for special events or promotions.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision within quick service & fast food environments.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, team management, and supervising teams in hospitality or culinary settings.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, inventory control, budgeting, and kitchen management practices.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Experience with culinary operations including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures.
- Strong communication skills for effective interviewing, staff training, and customer interactions.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles with a focus on casual dining or quick service restaurant environments.
